It's a Philly Thing

If you ever find yourself in South Philly on the corner of 9th Street and Passyunk Ave (locally pronounced "Pa-shunk", and abbreviated by many to simply Shunk), there can only be one reason. You're there to sample the cheesesteak sandwich, a simple piece of culinary magic widely regarded as a signature Philly flavor. This product of kitchens throughout the greater Philadelphia area has been creating value for restaurant owners and, in more recent years, even national comanies for the better part of a century.

When seeking to establish a brand name that pays tribute to his place of birth and its distinctive sound, founder and record producer Dave Altamirano knew exactly how to define the Philly flavor. It made more sense to use the name of the intersection than the sandwich, representing the intersection of artist and producer. We work to be a symbol of perpetual value to music fans and the music industry in the same way the cheesesteak is to area cooks and hungry folks alike.

Our influences are jazz, disco, rock, r&b, freestyle, techno, and house. We have more than 20 years of production experience backed by the formal education of Full Sail University.
